Terms and Conditions for Black Car Rides
We appreciate your selection of Black Car Rides and your desire for First Class transportation. We are committed to providing you with high-quality transportation and other ancillary services suitable for your needs. In this regard, please carefully examine our terms and conditions to identify problem areas in your journey.
1. Payment Policies
All bookings of Black Car Rides are locked 24 hours after confirmation of payment and all transactions are cashless. Payment is processed at the time of booking, whereas additional fees may occur after the ride has been completed.
· Hourly Rides: Advanced payment in full for all the hours booked, while any unused hour will be refunded after your ride.
· Point-to-Point Transfers: Funds available on the account are pre-approved to take care of extra stops and any periods of waiting. Unused funds will be refunded.
· Acceptance of Payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. A temporary hold is soon required on some debit card transactions.
2. Reservations Confirmation
When making a reservation, an email will be automatically sent to you containing detailed information about the trip. The client is obliged to check within 24 hours, since any discrepancies may need to be reported. Black Car Rides shall not take responsibility for mistakes related to details filled during the booking process.
3. Additional Charges
In an endeavor to guarantee service quality and maintain that premium image, the following fees may occur: These charges ensure we can consistently deliver exceptional service tailored to meet your needs.
· 10% Standard Transportation Charge (STC) for operational costs.
· 10% Federal Holiday surcharge.
* $40 fee for the meeting service at the airport.
* A $20 fee for pickups between midnight and 5 a.m:
* $10 fee for each extra stop which includes waiting time.
* Parking fees and tolls will be based on the actual amount incurred.
* Set at $25 for each child safety seat needed (must be reserved in advance).
* Since fuel costs are affected by changes in the economy, we impose a fuel surcharge.
* Special charges apply for holiday periods at peak times.
4. Cancellation, Credit and Change Procedures
· Any cancellations will only be accepted via e-mail.
· Bookings cannot be refunded if time elapses up to 24 hours before the scheduled activity. However, it can be changed to a credit note for 1 year from the date it is issued.
· Cancellation charges will apply:
– Sedans/SUVs: A 50% Cancellation charge will apply if done within 72 hours while a full charge will apply if canceled within 24 hours.
– Vans/Limos/Coaches: A 50% Cancellation charge will apply if done within 48 hours while a full charge will apply if canceled within 24 hours.
– Special last-minute bookings are not eligible for cancellation and require full payment immediately.
5. Refund Policy
Any requests for a refund will NOT be facilitated if submitted after 24 hours of placing the booking. However, for future bookings, a one-year credit note can be issued. These notes can be redeemed in any of the serviced cities for further services. Kindly be reminded that the credit notes are not exchangeable and need to be used by the original customer only.
6. Service Hours
Our operations are 24/7, and our services are offered on a ‘first book, first serve’ basis. To avoid inconveniences, please reserve our services at least a day prior. ‘First come, First served’ style means same-day bookings are welcomed, but not guaranteed. Weekends and Holidays are our peak periods, and spots may be filled up quickly. Kindly put in your reservations in advance. Our staff is always ready to support you in case you have any questions or changes in your bookings that may be required.
7. Vehicle Substitution
Should your original booked vehicle be inoperable or must be replaced because of scheduling issues, a similar vehicle will be allocated for these situations. We strive to ensure that any substitute vehicle meets the same standards of comfort and quality as your original booking. Our team will notify you promptly of any changes to minimize inconvenience. Rest assured, this measure is implemented only when necessary to maintain the reliability of our service.
8. Travel Guidelines
All trips shall be undertaken using the local road traffic regulations. The chauffeur will observe the law including instructions given by a passenger who may wish to circumvent it.
9. Luggage and Belongings
· The client will keep their items. Black Car Rides will not be responsible for items that go missing or are damaged.
· Larger than normal size luggage should be reported at the time of making the booking so appropriate arrangements can be made.
10. Passenger Conduct
• Use of vehicles for smoking, drinking, or consuming food is strictly prohibited.
• Cleaning fees (subject to $100-$300) may be charged for damages or mess left within the vehicle.
• Inappropriate behavior may lead to the chauffeur calling off the service.
11. Legal Compliance
All passengers are advised to obey relevant local by-laws. Avoiding wearing seat belts or disregarding the policy on prohibited items will lead to a trip cancellation without any form of reimbursement. Passengers must undertake personal responsibility to ensure all items they wish to carry comply with the legal and safety standards.
12. Emergencies
In case of an emergency while in a moving vehicle, do not hesitate to contact your chauffeur or the customer service department. Our drivers undergo extensive training in unpredictable situations and will answer your needs very quickly. Further assistance will be handled by the customer support team available around the clock to allay all your concerns during trips.
13. No Shows
If a passenger does not show up to the preassigned location, a no-show payment equal to the trip’s fee plus seven percent will be charged. Kindly inform us before departing the meeting point to circumvent this payment.
14. Service Assurance
It has always been our paramount objective to offer unparalleled service. In the event of a problem, there are representatives ready to help through the customer service department. If needed, a partner chauffeur may be assigned to complete your request.
15. Partner Services
To grow our business, we work with certain partners that we can trust. While we guarantee their compliance, every operational challenge ought to be resolved with the partner directly.
16. Governing Law And Disputes
• These clauses are regulated by the provisions of the country where the service is performed.
• Conflicts will first be tackled in good faith. If these attempts fail, referral to arbitration will take place before any court action.
17. Modifications on the Terms
The Black Car Rides reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice. Use of our services constitutes acceptance of such newly set terms.
18. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and only collect personal information necessary to provide our services. No information will be disclosed without your permission.
19. Intellectual Property
All the content, logos, and other materials are the property of Black Car Rides and they shall not be utilized or copied without approval.
20. Indemnification
By using our services, the customer confirms that they have read and understood our policies on proper service use and they will indemnify Black Car Rides against any claims arising from the improper use of our services.
21. Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen events such as natural disasters or actions of the government, we reserve the right to delay or cancel engagements and will not be held liable for such consequences.
22. Policy Updates
By making a booking with us, you confirm that you agree to the latest versions of the policies. We reserve the right to update or modify our terms at any time, and your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of those changes.
